We invite you to the old town of Kamnik, which lies under the beautiful Alps. It has a well preserved medieval core, surrounded by two castle ruins.
Town and surrounding area offers a various range of activities from hiking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, paragliding to archery.
We prepared a selection of web links of the interesting places you might want to visit.
Get in touch with us to leave us your feedback or wishes. For most activities we have arrangements with experienced guides, some of them with international licences (mountain guides).
For example here is a three day stroll our guests like to go on:
The first day, we take you through the narrow streets of the medieval city, previewed Mali Grad castle above the city center, peek in the Franciscan Monastery where they keep one of the oldest libraries in our country and then take a walk through the historic Šutna street to the museum.
In the afternoon we head to the vast pastures of Velika planina where we combine a pleasant stroll by learning about and picking edible plants.
The next day we rest our souls in the cool shade of the active grove Tunjice, fill your batteries with positive earth energy and visit the museum of the oldest sea horse fossil in Europe.
On the third day we will swim in the highest Slovenian spas – Terme Snovik and strolled through the beautiful gardens of Arboretum Volčji Potok.
In the evening we will enjoy the preparation and tasting of local homemade dishes, which we will get to know through themed culinary evenings.
